Background
About Filip Nerad
I spent 20 years in various positions in Czech public media before joining the GLOBSEC policy institute. I served as a correspondent in Germany for Czech News Agency and then as a correspondent in Brussels and in the Benelux countries for Czech Radio. After returning from Brussels to Prague, I became an EU and NATO Affairs Analyst and later also a head of Foreign News Department and a co-author of the Brussels Bites podcast on European affairs at Czech Radio. As an expert on EU and international relations I have been frequently contributing my analyses to Czech, Slovak and prestigious foreign broadcasters and media outlets. In addition, I'm an author of three books on the Boer War and Belgian beer culture, acknowledged beer connoisseur and I received a Belgian beer knighthood for raising awareness about Belgian beer culture.
