Mechanical engineer with 6+ years of experience in structural calculations within the railway industry. Graduated from Politecnico di Milano, majoring in Advanced Mechanical Design, with two international experiences (Belgium – VUB and USA – MIT). Track record in structural assessment of carbody structures and critical components of railway vehicles, mainly through FEM simulations. Skilled in understanding customer needs quickly and proposing smart, innovative structural solutions. Strongly oriented towards organization, methodical work planning, and delivering results that meet client expectations. Currently leading the Structural Calculation Department at S.I.DE.P, where I built and now coordinate a team of 5 engineers plus a dedicated external consultant. I’ve defined workflows, onboarded and trained new team members, and structured the entire calculation process to ensure quality and efficiency. I've had the opportunity to collaborate with top-tier players in the railway sector, gaining solid experience across different types of rolling stock projects. Beyond my technical role, I’m also actively involved in project coordination and internal process optimization. I often help bridge communication and planning efforts across departments, especially in contexts that benefit from more structured project oversight. Additionally, I’ve contributed to business development activities, establishing new client relationships and helping to grow the company’s network through direct technical engagement. I enjoy working in collaborative environments, and I’m motivated by improving how people, processes, and technology come together to achieve high-impact results.
