About Filvert Kinlichee

I have always had an interest in parks and national monuments, I have worked at Navajo National Monument Park Service. Protecting historic sites, preservation of the monuments, and my home where I reside in Canyon de Chelly National Monument. Protection of these sites with resources is my main goal for present and future generations to enjoy rare scenery and sites. Living in canyon lands all my life I find peace from the real world mentally to just be out and about in natures wonders and beauty. I love the open air, quietness in the canyons, with the sound of nature in the distance, I don't hear vehicles or horns honking. I Natural resources in these park lands area sacred to mother earth and are there for a reason and removing it from its natural element is disturbing the natural setting it's meant to be at, and I want to protect these places. That's why I made my choice to become a supervisor in a National Park someday and be a leader in these monument places someday for the people here now and for the future.
