About Fina Hastuti

Having earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from STIE Perbanas, in Jakarta, Indonesia, Fina has more than ten years of experience in finance and grant management, with a particular focus on non-profit programs. She is currently a grant manager for Masyarakat dan Perikanan Indonesia, an independent foundation focused an achieving responsible and sustainable fisheries resources and ecosystems of Indonesia and the region. Following receipt of her degree in accounting, Fina worked in administration at BBDO Indonesia, the advertising agency, and then as a distribution analyst at Kraft Foods Indonesia. When the tsunami of 2004 hit Aceh, Fina joined the trust fund team of the Indonesia-Australia Basic Education Program, working in the management office. The program, which lasted four years and disbursed AUD 387.6 million in loans and grants, sought to assist Indonesia to improve access for all to basic educational services in the country, particular in disadvantaged areas. At the conclusion of the program, Fina joined Search for Common Ground - Indonesia, working with the Leadership Wisdom Initiative team. The project supports leadership development, conflict resolution training, and personalized coaching to emerging leaders in politics, civil society, and development agencies. Subsequently, Fina served as finance assistant, program officer, and procurement manager at Indonesia-Australia Forest Carbon Partnership in a program designed to reduce emissions resulting from deforestation and forest degradation. These varied experiences over the past decade helped Fina to hone her financial skills while developing her talent for contract and grant administration and communication with stakeholders and the public at large. Fina is committed to continue learning as her career evolves, and has a strong passion for environmental conservation, animal welfare, public health and education, and business in general, with an emphasis on ecotourism.
