About Fiona Kau

I am a psychotherapist and Trainee Counselling Psychologist with more than seven years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples and families. My work strongly focuses on the therapeutic relationship as well as clients' past and present experiences. My specialisations include depression, anxiety, stress, trauma and abuse. My research focuses on depression, trauma and meaning-making. I am currently in the final phase of my professional doctorate, conducting research and writing my thesis while working in private practice. I am an entrepreneur and have worked in managerial positions in the past. I do not shy away from taking initiative or taking on responsibility and hope to combine all my professional experiences in the future within the mental health sector to promote mental well-being.
