About Fiona Malone

I possess more than 20 years of progressive experience in the Customer Service and health care fields. Most recently, my responsibilities as Automobile Claims Adjuster, and previously an Insurance Agent at AMA Insurance has taught me a great deal about the insurance industry. Although my time in the industry has been brief, I have accomplished achieving my General Insurance Level 1 Licence, and I have completed my Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation. I have found the insurance industry to be very intriguing, and I am seeking a position that will utilize my skill set, but will allow me to grow and develop my knowledge further throughout my career. Aside from my CIP educational pursuits, I am well educated with a very strong medical background. I have previously completed 3 years towards a nursing degree, and was a licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist MRT(NM). However due to lack of available positions in that field of diagnostic imaging I had to move on and work on developing a new career. I have an aptitude for insurance, and I actively and aggressively pursued my CIP designation with the intention to focus in the adjuster series of applied courses. I feel that I have all the desired traits to become an excellent Claims Adjuster. I am skeptical without being callous, and I am empathetic without being a pushover. I am intelligent, very adaptable, as well as being a quick study and learn new tasks and roles effectively and efficiently. I have excellent working knowledge of human anatomy, diagnosis, prognosis, treatments, protocols, and medical terminology. I am also knowledgeable of the SPF 1, endorsements, Section B coverage and limits. I am detail oriented and very conscientious about my work product. I am well organized and manage my time effectively with the capability to multitask and prioritize.
