About Fiona Meaton

Fiona is a corporate lawyer with over ten years' experience specialising in the energy and primary industries sector and advising clients on a range of matters such as: M&A transactions, due diligence, drafting and advising on joint venture agreements and shareholder agreements, preparing and negotiating a range of project documents such as management agreements, offtake contracts and marketing agreements, providing structuring and strategic advice during project development and advising on regulatory requirements associated with such investment, including Foreign Investment Review Board Approval. She also advises a range of clients on corporate governance issues, in particular in relation to Corporations Act compliance. Fiona's practice is increasingly focused on Australia's transition to clean energy through advising on green hydrogen and renewable energy projects and helping guide clients in how they can harness the burgeoning market around ACCU's to either offset their carbon emissions, to move their business in a more sustainable direction, or add another income stream to their business. Fiona is passionate about the agricultural sector, having grown up on a fine wool sheep stud in Kojonup and currently lives on a broadacre farming enterprise in Tambellup WA, splitting her time between Perth and the farm.
