About Fiona Nave

With over 20 years experience working as an Accredited Practicing Dietitian across all aspects of the health service; from tertiary through community and primary care, including in the food industry, I now work at different ends of the healthcare spectrum; in public health and in paediatric private practice. I am passionate about translating evidence-based practice into sustainable solutions for children and their families; whether this be at a population health or individual family level. As Senior Public Health Nutritionist at HWQld, I lead the First Days Prevention portfolio, integrating prevention into clinical care. With innovation and integration backed by strong collaboration, I strongly believe we can support families with prevention or early intervention to help keep them healthy and living better lives. Privately, I work alongside families to support them to improve long-term health with sustainable solutions that consider the child and family dynamics holistically. I specialize in those with limited or restrictive diets and those with disabilities with, or without growth concerns. My experience has always focused on creating or providing equitable and sustainable health services whilst using innovation to improving efficiencies or outcomes. I feel passionate about making a difference, at the individual or upstream level, and am excited by what technology will help us achieve over the next decade.
