Experienced Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the accounting industry. Skilled in Sage Products, Year End Accounts, Tax Preparation, and Finance. Strong administrative professional with experience across multiple sectors. I have a keen eye for change and have a practical attitude to making physical and systems changes with positive operational, financial and staffing outcomes. My enthusiasm for professional development for myself, and colleagues, has led to a wide knowledge of multiple sectors and multiple disciplines which I have used to benefit the organisations I have worked with. Volunteering within the education system I have experience in managing revenue grant funding from Scottish Government including developing the business case to apply for funding and reporting on KPIs to funders and stakeholders. My experience in this field resulted in my involvement with several national initiatives including an advisory position for taking a Bill through Parliament. I have actively promoted the organisations I have been involved with both as an employee and volunteer which has led to proactive attendance at local and national events from the Shetland food fair to the Scottish Learning Festival held in the SECC.
