About Fiona Pollack
I’m Fiona Pollack, an undergraduate at Harvard University pursuing a degree in applied mathematics and government with a language citation in Chinese. I'm also a Technology and Security Policy Fellow and member of the adjunct staff at RAND. I’m most interested in the nexus between national security and emerging technology, focusing on artificial intelligence and biosecurity. In the past, I’ve worked with research groups affiliated with Harvard, Columbia University, the University of Pennsylvania, NASA, and the Special Competitive Studies Project. My current research interests include military innovation and biodefense. I'm currently in Taiwan for Summer 2023, where I'm studying intensive Chinese at National Taiwan University.
