About Fiona Rumney

I am a Vocational Rehabilitation professional with over 30 years’ experience supporting disadvantaged individuals, with a wide range of disability or long term health conditions, to gain, and retain sustainable employment. I am experienced in, and provide, bespoke services to the public and private sector, solicitors and insurance companies, charities, Armed Forces and Veterans. Service provision focuses on all aspects of vocational support including Dyslexia screening, vocational assessment, absence management, disability awareness and reasonable adjustment guidance and HR diversity guidance and support. My previous experience working within a Vocational Rehabilitation Service has included providing vocational assessment and case management support to the medico-legal sector and through the governments Access to Work Mental Health Service and supporting Armed Forces and Veterans working across commercial multi-contracts. These include the MOD supporting armed forces personnel with the transition to alternative military roles or into civilian life and employment as well as the Access to Work Mental Health programme and external insurance and employer customers. In addition I have extensive experience in employment support with Jobcentre plus and specialist government employment programmes. I am an accredited Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP) and qualified, and experienced, in providing adult Dyslexia screening and assessment and Psychometric Occupational Testing (Level A) as part of assessment, information, guidance and support. I am a professional member of the Vocational Rehabilitation Association (VRA) in the UK and a Regional Facilitator for the VRA in the South West of England and hold Case Management membership of the Case Management Society UK. I am registered with the British Psychological Society as an Occupational Test User (Level A) to deliver occupational psychometric testing and assessment.
