About Fiona Tilley

I am a catalyst, an inhabitant of wild edges, an animist who travels betwixt and between. I hold processes of transformation for individuals and groups. For the last decade I have worked mainly with participants on educational programmes at Schumacher College in Devon, UK. My focus is shaping learning programmes that equip people for the challenges we face in the modern world. I am passionate about the way our lives unfurl, like plants in the wild, and how learning spaces can support, enable and allow this unfurling to deepen with meaning and purpose. I bring nature based practices, way of council, deep listening, mentoring, developmental coaching and the invitation to slowdown. I wholeheartedly know building a relationship with land, the elements and being creative are essential parts of life and therefore, my work. I prefer to collaborate with people and places. I love to include the unknown, lean into poignant questions, be creative, show up, acknowledge the sacred and honour our ancestors. I am attuned to ritual and ceremony, to the elements, the four directions, to making offerings and prayer and to acknowledging the numinous. I seek to hold learning experiences that expand our wholeness and authenticity; that explore our belonging and connection to all of life. I am intentionally using language that speaks to our rational selves and beyond. Many of us are living with immense uncertainty and change. My service and offering seeks to support those tracking their lives through these transformations to meet and embrace the challenges they encounter along the way.
