AEROSOL (pollutAnt hEalth inteRactiOn eStimatiOn Lab) lab is now located at North South University. This lab is equipped with GC-FID, GC-MS, IC, ICP-MS (collaboration with GoB), dry analytical method (XRD, X-ray Florocense-collaborating GoB), sampling medium (active and passive), solid phase extraction process, real-time measurement of gases, elements, MET and air particles throughout the country (collaboration with GoB), and many other devices (in progress). We have several air quality and mortality risk models for finding the causes, effects, and mitigation of air pollution in Dhaka and other overpopulated cities in the Global South.
