I’m a business and community economic development professional with 14 years of experience spanning both nonprofit and for-profit sectors. I specialize in designing and delivering initiatives that strengthen local economies, support small business development, and foster inclusive, place-based innovation. My work is rooted in relationship-building and adapting strategies to the specific social, cultural, and economic realities of each community. I bring formal training in community economic development and have applied it across four continents, most recently in remote and rural Indigenous communities in northern British Columbia. My experience includes- Small business support and entrepreneurship development - Fund development, grant management, and loan financing - Social innovation and social enterprise strategy - Local food systems and food sovereignty initiatives - Poverty reduction and local economy building - Collaborative, trust-based partnerships across sectors I bring a values-based approach to my work, shaped by practices of inner reflection and a commitment to compassionate, collaborative leadership. I believe community transformation begins with authentic relationships, aligned values, and a commitment to personal growth. I currently live and work on the homelands of the Gitxsan people in Hazelton, BC.
