About Flavio Martinelli

With an experience for over 20 years working as a Head of Construction and Facilities Management Projects for a unit value up to USD 1 billion, I have achieved specific expertise to manage the portfolio of complex and interdependent projects for guarantee business continuity in highly technological and security-oriented environments. As a result of my technical training and my engineering approach, I have always been interested in applying solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes by combining the Business Process Reengineering methodology, the Lean Thinking strategy with the innovation applied to the Informations & Communications Technologies. Regarding to my personal skills, I consider myself a patient, persevering and determined person. I have developed a natural predisposition to problem solving, conflict reduction and crisis management. I have been in charge of multidisciplinary teams, encouraging personal initiative, delegation of responsibilities, honesty, sense of belonging, generating a collaborative and serene environment that allows everyone to express their potential. I always guarantee maximum transparency and I commit myself rigorously to achieving the objectives: this is a fundamental mission of my management. Also, in order to integrate and create links with the Chilean culture, I am a member of the Chilean Chamber of Construction (CChC).
