About Flavio Roli

I have a wide experience in the IT industry, dealing with different positions and roles for over 15 years, which defines me as a 360 degrees IT Specialist. Currently I am employed at Talea SRL, working as an IT Manager in outsourcing for Negri Bossi SPA and as a Strategic Applications Project Manager and SAP R3 Business Consultant for the Financial Accounting and Controlling (FI-CO), Sales and Distribution (SD), Material Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules. As a System Administrator I have the responsability to manage the company's servers, computer systems and LAN/WAN network. These responsabilities not only involve maintaining hardware and troubleshooting problems but also include users and security management, applications management and support and disaster recovery. As a Software Developer I participate in the definition, specifications and programming of new software applications required by the company. This also involves writing code and user documentation. As a SAP Business Consultant I help companies in dealing with the many business issues often providing not only application support but also workflow, procedures and organization. Other duties involve the management of SAP users, authorizations and roles and reporting. In my technical background I have the knowledge and working experience with a variety of hardwares and softwares. Concerning software I would like to mention all Microsoft OS, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Lotus Domino and an almost infinite list of other software applications, ranging from graphics and multimedia to databases. I also have knowledge and experience with the IBM System I (formerly known as AS/400) as a System Administrator, Security Administrator and RPG Programmer. As a programmer I have an in depth knowledge of the Borland Delphi language and a basic knowledge of Microsoft's Visual Basic and the C/C++ high level language. Finally I have experience with graphics and video editing. Specialties: Problem solving, fast thinking and programming.
