About Flemming Olesen

I have a Diploma of Education in School Development and Processes of Change. Beside that I have a voca-tional teacher certificate and also has completed a course in the development of local curricula and assessment plans. In addition, I have a diploma in Hotel and Catering Management and Waiter’s and Chef’s certificates. He has 10 years of professional experience in catering, hospitality and tourism industry and 12 years of experience in the development and implementation of VET in the field of catering, hospitality and tourism. Wide experience in the development and implementation of VET curricula in accordance with the Danish NQF, which is linked to the EQF, implementation of VET reforms, capacity building of teacher colleagues in relation to pedagogical reforms, participation in pilot transnational projects, and organisation of student exchange and placement programmes. I have 9 years of international work experience. My international TA experience comprises: review of occupational standards and development of new standards in cooperation with social partner representatives and capacity building of TVET managers in standards development procedures and methodology (Botswana); Support to BiH VET teachers and managers in the development of modular curricula. Training of trainers in modern teaching methodologies, development and quality assurance of occupational standards, qualifications, and curricula, including teaching materials and assessment methods, capacity building of VET Resource Centre managers quality assurance including a QA manual (Russia). In addition, I have extensive experience in the preparation of technical specifications and evaluation of tenders for VET school equipment and trainers of teachers in the use of the equipment.
