About Floor van Hulsen

With my background, I have a passion for key figures, makers, and artists who come from practical or self-taught backgrounds. For a long time, I’ve been dedicated to making these people and their communities visible. I draw inspiration from various sources and perspectives, connecting different (sub)cultures, styles, and disciplines in my work. My goal: to spark dialogue, highlight diverse viewpoints, and foster mutual understanding. I do all this in my role as a program creator, educator, and connector. I always design my programs in collaboration with the target audience, ensuring that the needs and desires of the community come first. I recognize the importance of making people feel seen and acknowledged, no matter their socio-economic or cultural background, in order to build long-term connections and create impact.
