My mission is to empower families and communities by connecting underserved individuals to comprehensive resources; by providing an individualized approach to advising, program implementation and case management that will /allow individuals to become empowered and self sufficient in order to thrive in a competitive global workforce and economy. Key Competencies: Strategic marketing, holistic case management, needs base analysis, asset mapping, public speaking, community relations, labor market intelligence LMI: knowledge of entrance into various industries/ recruitment; industrial/manufacturing/construction/production - oil and gas industry/offshore/turn around and shut downs, construction. Workforce Development implementation of programs including OJT, Work Based Learning, and Apprenticeship; through WIOA Funding streams- creation of employment opportunities (including second chance employment programs) economic development. Community liaison for governmental programs (Workforce Solutions/TWC and educational /institutions (WrapAround HISD). Provided HR support for various companies and industries within the Houston Metropolitan area extending from East-End, Denver Harbor, 5th Ward/ 3rd Ward Downtown and Magnolia area. Extensive experience working in non-profit organizations performing various functions from/ community outreach, tailored interventions, to large scale events and community program implementation. As an experienced social worker, my previous experience working with HISD and Texas Workforce Commission Baker Ripley; I offer a holistic approach in community development and economic empowerment. My experience has allowed me to understand the needs and unique challenges of various populations. Trained to provide personalized support and tailored internventions to various populations and subgroups in various communities.
