A board certified adult geriatric primary care nurse practitioner, currently employed as a primary care nurse practitioner with the University of MS Medical Center Family Medicine department, certified to care for ages 13 & older. Work history includes experience in the hospital, clinic, telehealth medicine, primary care, long term care and medical/legal expert witnessing. Currently specializing in the care of Medicare patients. Care and services are rendered to clients while preserving human dignity and respect. Experience includes diagnosing, evaluating, treating, prescribing, educating and consulting/referrals. Care of patients involves collaborative efforts to ensure efficacy in care. My qualifications also encompass completing medical examinations. Certified by the Federal Motor Commercial Safety Administration (FMCSA) for MS Dept. of Transportation (MDOT). Recently elected as board member of MS Association of Nurse Practitioners (MSANP) and continue to serve as the Political Action Committee (PAC) chair for MSANP for the past 2 years. Favorites includes spending quality time with my husband, children and grand babes. Also teaching my oldest grand babe how to rehab residential homes.
