About Flora Hu
Hi, I'm Flora — a frontend/prompt engineer with a deep curiosity for how AI interfaces shape real human workflows. I started in the intersection of AI and learning — working at the MIT Media Lab’s Personal Robots Group, where I supported the Jibo-at-Home study, exploring how embodied agents could support child learning. To test those ideas in the real world, I spent two school years teaching in Boston classrooms, gaining firsthand insight into what educational technology can (and cannot) scale. That experience shifted my mission: I now build AI tools and Copilot systems that go beyond theory — rooted in real user pain points, designed to empower workflows that matter. Today, I'm building Goldgram — an Instagram-like social app with a built-in AI Ops Copilot that helps creators optimize their content strategy, engagement, and automation. My stack includes React, Tailwind, Appwrite, and prompt workflows — and I’m expanding into AI-generated feedback and embedded user training. I'm looking for opportunities in Boston (or remote), where I can contribute to AI Copilot design, prompt UX, or frontend engineering — especially in early-stage, high-agency teams.
