About Florence Katono

With nearly two decades administrative experience, Florence a Certified Administrative Professional (CAP), is recognized as an industry leader in the administrative profession locally and globally. She has experience working with High Level Executives and multi-faceted teams in government Institutions. A member of Toastmasters International, she has mastered the art of oration as a fundamental tool of persuasion and a driver of change. When she takes center stage, Florence laces her message with poetic prose and storytelling techniques. A creative writer who is not afraid of playing with language, Florence curates prose and poetry that leaves a lingering taste on the palate of the reader. I am Intentional, I am professional one of her poems, invites readers to appreciate the value of the administrative profession beyond being a status symbol. She recited the poem at Executive Secretary Live events in Sandton, Washington, Auckland and London. She has championed several causes and represented Uganda, Africa in several global spaces notably the Worlds' Administrators Summit in Frankfurt, Germany. She won an International Award as Pitman P.A of the Year 2015. She believes in the power of creative arts, creative writing as a tool for social transformation and development.
