About Florencia Marchetti

Learning with other people, organizing knowledge sharing events and storytelling are three of my favorite things. With twenty plus years of experience as creative facilitator, participatory researcher and documentary media producer, I have developed an experimentally driven and theoretically informed toolbox that can support innovative projects blossom. I have ample experience conducting in-depth interviews, attuning to sensory and affective clues, facilitating constructive dialogues in variety of socio-cultural environments. I am an engaging public speaker and a critical thinker who can synthesize sophisticated research topics into argumentative points or storied form. As a scholar of cultural memory and social change movements, I can be a key asset analyzing and intervening in complex dynamic ecosystems, including intercultural and intergenerational relations. I have studies in Social Communications, Social and Cultural Anthropology, and Humanities. I am keen on fostering good relations at local and global levels, following First Nations’ teachings. I am becoming more and more fluent in neurodivergent, queer, and other variant modes of bodying selves and communities. Social innovation, transformation and justice-driven enterprises are close to my heart as I continue to be actively engaged in diversity, equity and inclusion practices. I am open to activating/ working with/in different kinds of projects as creative consultant, cultural mediator, dialogic facilitator, media producer, et cetera.
