About Florent Blanc
Florent Blanc is Affiliate Professor of political science and director of the research and training program "Negotiators of Europe" at ESSEC's Institute for Research and Education on Negotiation (IRENE). He manages a comprehensive training program on negotiation for European institutions personnel and delivers trainings on a regular basis. Actively involved in development issues, Florent Blanc conceives and delivers trainings to DG Intpa and EEAS agents on policy dialogue and contextual analytical tools. Florent teaches negotiation courses at France's Institut National du Service Public and mediation at Paris 2 university. He holds a Ph.D. in international relations from Northwestern University and a doctorate from Science Po Paris. His research focused on counterterrorism and dissent movements post-9/11. Finally, Florent is a certified mediator from CEDR.
