My name is Florian Bonnes, graduated with Bachelor of Science,(electric and electronic engineering) from university of highlands and islands Inverness in 2005. After a couples of job experience in France, I decided to join oil and gas industry, a dream I wanted to carry out after my studies in Scotland. Firstly employed by Geosoervices as Logging engineer in Nigeria, I rotated 8/3 weeks on fields to gain as much experience as possible. I remained at this position 3 years, and then I started to be on loan in Uganda and Congo replacing supervisors during their time off. This transition period allowed me to take smoothly higher positions. In 2010 during the acquisition of Geoservices by Schlumberger, I was transferred to Congo then Gabon as cell leader well intervention segment. With the objectives to deploy new DSL technology.(Digital slickline). At that time I was working 4/1 months abroad managing intervention teams. I achieved successfully this goal by getting, launching and managing first worldwide contract for DSL with Maurel & Prom. Following this we gained two new contracts with Perenco and Total for double drum unit set on heavy work over jack up. At this point Gabon ran full range of DSL services such as real time logging / Setting / Perforating. Meanwhile my expertise in DSL brought me to conduct high profile jobs, Plug and Abandon campaign in Norway and Scotland and performed the first DSL subsea riserless operation. Recent activity downturn forces me to find a new job. I am now looking forward new challenges in management or high technologies orientated jobs. Available now for new position.
