About Florian Gerlach
I combine industrial design with strategy and engineering expertise. In short, I'm a product creator. I cofounded Strays in 2022, a senior design team that works with ventures on first of their kind products. We design across hardware, interface, and brand (sometimes simultaneously). Our projects span autonomous helicopters, personal health devices, supersonic aviation and underwater drones. The common thread is complexity that needs to become simple and human. During my decade at IDEO (USA, Japan and Germany), I worked on +50 products for Fortune 500 companies and startups, earning multiple international industry awards.
