About Florian Lechner

Doing my part in helping MIFCOM reach tripple-digit growth rates as the teamlead for the product management department, spanning across all product groups on offer together with our longstanding and loyal industry partners - which I am contact with on an almost daily basis. Throughout my employment I have streamlined and narrowed down the portfolio of products, established new partner relationships and strengthed existing ones, resulting in mutually benefical growth - abiding the results of (my) internal reserach of our customer's demands, needs and wants. I personally oversee and manage our entire portfolio of desktop PCs SKUs), desktop components SKUs) and laptops including company-wide pricing (webshop and etail, excl. direct sales such as B2B), with my dear team members dutifully taking care of special editions, workstations, servers, peripherals as well as technical validation and troubleshooting. I am responsible for negotations (price, MDF etc.) and planning of all of our sales events in terms of pricing and products excl. marketing, e.g. Black Friday. I also succesfully manag(ed) or (tried to) establish our Etail-channels (e.g. Digitec, MediaMarkt/Saturn etc.). Additionally, I am also responsible for almost all sales reports to our partners - weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually. I am also responsible for our ZPÜ reports. Another responsibility of mine is (partially) researching,(almost entirley) authoring and maintaining all SEO-texts used by our company in cooperation with an external marketing agency - which amongst our other efforts in this regard results in being the Google Nr. 1 search result for almost all of our core keywords. Currently, I am also in regular exchange with our delevopment team for future IT-related improvements due to my experience with the Magento shop-software. Before taking over as teamlead of product management leading a team of up to 5 reliable experts I was also part of a Duo responsible for purchasing of the entire portfolio of products, purchase volumes at that time exceeding 20 Mio. €. Nowadays, I am in daily contact with the experts of our purchase department. To this day I am still responsible for the daily and strategic purchasing of all our Notebooks from various vendors, overseas or within Europe as well as aditional goods from overseas such as product logos. I also assist our service team on a daily basis if product-realted issues arise. Addtionally, I still manage to properly build a PC - albeit taking a bit more time doing so compared to our skilled craftsmen:)
