About Florian Prodinger

since 2022] I am currently working in Boehringer Ingelheim doing Proteomics and Data Science for Proteomics.[2017 - 2022] PhD student at the Institute for Chemical Research (ICR) of Kyoto University. In my first PhD project I developed a wet chemistry workflow for a community analysis of a family of giant viruses (doi:10.3390/microorganisms8040506). In my second project I used this workflow in combination with community analysis of cellular plankton to study microbial communities and their change throughout the year (doi.org/10.1093/femsec/fiab167).[2009 - 2016] BSc and MSc student in chemistry. I graduated with a BSc and subsequently an MSc from the University of Vienna in analytical chemistry with a focus on biological polymers. I used mass spectrometry for proteomics during my BSc. During my MSc I further studied analytical chemistry and graduated by analyzing the lipidome of two different cell types. I started using Python for data analysis in 2016 while preparing my Master's thesis.
