Since 2014 he was staff member in the Competence Center for Virtual and Augmented Reality at Fraunhofer IGD, Germany. His scientific emphasis was focused on the development of cutting edge AR industry solutions. Especially he is eager to solve the obstacles of AR and enhancing the user experience to make this technology utilizable. After his academic career, he joined the Fraunhofer spin-off Visometry as a Solutions Engineer to shape the future of AR technology and support customers in integrating AR & Spatial Computing into their business. Florian holds a Master of Engineering in Surveying and Geoinformatics.
