About Florian Theurich

I am a data scientist and machine learning engineer with a strong background in deep learning and bioinformatics. I finished my PhD in 2022 and am now working at adesso on interesting projects, mainly in the field of machine learning, using the Google Cloud and Azure. In my current project I am the technical lead for a team of 10 people, developing a GenAI product used by thousands of people within the company. In my previous research group, I held a position that required a very good knowledge of both data science and machine learning methods, especially deep learning. I developed multiple different projects all the way from ideation, data preparation, implementation, validation to presentation. I have extensive experience with natural language processing, but I am very curious to expand my knowledge to other areas such as image processing or graph-based input.
