In 2014, I began my apprenticeship at Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics AG as a design engineer, which marked the start of my experience in MedTech. Simultaneously, I completed my technical matura at BWZ Zofingen. Through this experience, I discovered my passion for medical technology topics at work, surpassing my interest in mechanical engineering subjects from school. I have always been fascinated by the technical aspects of life and have had a strong desire to understand how the human body functions. This led me to pursue my education as a medical engineer at the University of Applied Sciences Lucerne (HSLU). During my studies, I gained valuable experience as a Product Development Engineer Intern at Genostis AG, where I worked part-time. I earned my Bachelor's degree in July 2023 and have been working as a full-time engineer in product development engineering at Genostis AG since August of the same year.
