Floris is a Manager within the Cloud Security team of Deloitte's Cyber practice, bringing over nine years of extensive experience in IT risk and security control domains, with a particular focus on highly regulated markets and the public sector. In his managerial role, Floris is dedicated to assessing and facilitating the responsible implementation of IT (cloud) environments, ensuring alignment with security, privacy, and business objectives. His expertise lies in guiding organizations to not only implement necessary security measures but also to effectively demonstrate the effectiveness of these controls in compliance with internal and external standards, including SOC2, ISO27001, NIST CSF and CIS. Floris possesses hands-on experience in assessing existing or envisioned IT environments and translating the outcome towards the implementation of the required security controls to meet best practices and industry standards for key domains like: IAM, Key Management, Vulnerability Management, and Change Management. Within this field his main strength is in translating complex technical matter into concrete (business) risks to support decision making.
