About Flory Sanabria

My passion for graphic design extends beyond creating captivating visuals. It lies in fostering meaningful connections and empowering individuals through design. My Master's degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communications from the University of Florida (May 2024) coupled with extensive professional experience has equipped me to do just that. I'm particularly drawn to the power of experiential and participatory design, as explored in my thesis project "Meaningful Connections: Awareness, Belonging and Community in Latinas with ADHD." This project fostered culturally informed interactions with participants, highlighting the importance of inclusive design practices.I thrive in the classroom environment, having previously instructed courses in Typography and Visual Methods and Processes; and most recently, Quest: Design & Identity at the University of Florida. In these roles, I fostered a learning environment that embraced creativity and curiosity. My deep commitment goes beyond technical skills development. I aim to instill a sense of consciousness and responsibility in my students. Witnessing their transformation into talented, forward-thinking designers who champion inclusivity brings immense satisfaction.
