About Floyd Robinson
After 7 years of being an army mechanic I decided it was time to put my GI Bill to use and further my education and experience in the civilian sector of the automotive world, I have also been teaching myself more about consumer electronics and computers. My 3 main interests are in automotive, computers, and firearms, mostly because how they work fascinates me. While I was still in the army I learned a lot about vehicle maintenance and repair in rather extreme conditions, as well as firearm maintenance and repair, and on my own I learned how to build computers and while I was in Afghanistan I built a computer out of spare parts from the retrograde yard in FOB Sharauna, wasn't able to take it home with me, but since then I have built several systems, fixed numerous vehicles both military and civilian, built my own rifles, and dabbled a bit into 3d printing. I am currently employed at Intel as a manufacturing process technician
