About Flynn Lew

A University of Southern California graduate with a doctorate of pharmacy degree from the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy, and am currently licensed to practice pharmacy in California since 1982. I possess prior work experience in both retail and medical building pharmacy. The vast majority of my experience and expertise has been practicing long-term care or institutional pharmacy for the last 41+ years in Southern California. I have been a guest lecturer at USC School of pharmacy and at Mt. St Antonio’s College. My Long-Term Care pharmacy experience encompasses General Manager and PIC pharmacy oversight over large LTC pharmacy operations including financials, budget planning, employee relations, general HR responsibilities, compliance, operations, CQI, steering committees, automation, infusion, JACHO accreditation, project management, and pharmacy mergers/acquisitions/consolidations. Instrumental in establishing and accreditation (ACHC) of a new specialty pharmacy. My tenure as the Chief Compliance Officer enabled me to guide large multi-site healthcare operations in regulatory compliance; maintaining the effectiveness of the existing Corporate Compliance Program; serving as primary corporate resource for dictum's or fiats on regulatory issues; maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, rules, laws and standards.
