I absolutely love Insurance! My degree is in Genetics and Chemistry! As the saying goes-you don't choose what you fall in love with! Like most, I fell into Insurance in 2001! Since then I have been in love with it:) I love the learning aspect of Insurance the most! Being a student for life-Insurance satisfies my need completely, as I feel like its constantly changing and learning the changes and keeping up with continual education keeps me intrigued! In turn, it helps me fill in the gaps for my insured:) 22+ years of Commercial lines experience working from small to global accounts! I have touched almost all parts of industries from Healthcare to Staffing to General book! Worked on Golf courses to underwriting large staffing WC exposures both PEO and Temps! I touched on Nursing homes (learned a lot on large claims here) as well! I love multifaceted expect of our Insurance industry! Cross-selling, upselling, and filling gaps for my client is my specialty! Gaining and maintaining relationship with my clients is my first priority! I absolutely love the fact that my insured feel like I am there only for them:) Negotiating premiums and coverages are my favorite part of the job! Like insurance, I believe in law of large numbers! Lol! Hence I have four kids! I absolutely enjoy my time with them! I believe in Tai chi way of living! Feeling positive creates a positive environment! Responding instead of reacting is the best practice of life :) PMA is super important in life! I have been known among my friends and family as a counsel and motivational speaker on this subject! ps.
