About Forrest Beasley-Birch

I am an imaginative and faceted thinker who enjoys problem solving. I take pride in producing work to a high quality whilst ensuring a diverse variety of perspectives are understood. As a practicing artist, I have learnt to advance tasks with a strong research underpinning, implement them with a wide range of theoretical considerations, and produce multiple outcomes simultaneously. As an emerging artist, I have been awarded a number of national accolades recognising my talents and skills in the photographic and visual arts industry. I have been exhibited a number of times in group shows, have sold work to private collections, and have collaborated with visual artists. I have been interviewed in digital and print mediums. I work with a variety of mediums within my image making practice, including; still/moving image, lidar scanning, sound, machine learning artificial intelligence, installation works, photo books, print making, and augmented reality. My practice hybridises technologic methods to expand photography beyond traditional perceptions.
