About Forrest Dykes

Hello! My name is Forrest and I was born and raised here in Murfreesboro, TN. Going off of the advice from multiple co-workers and friends, I joined LinkedIn mainly to network with other professionals in the area of all disciplines, but more specifically those who work in the fields of Mental/Behavioral Health Counseling Services as well as Drug and Alcohol Addiction Services. I am currently pursuing licensure as a LADAC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor) as well as my LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor). My motivation in doing this is to set myself up to where soon I will be able to open up my own private practice counseling individuals struggling with Addictions and Psychological issues. I currently work for an inpatient Behavioral Health/Physical Rehabilitation hospital known as TrustPoint Hospital where I do admissions and marketing. I also am working at Middle Tennessee State University as an adjunct professor in the Psych Dept. I am currently a Master's level student but will it is a goal of mine to start on a doctorate degree within the next few years. Please feel free to connect with me and broaden our professional networks!
