I have 23 years Maintenance experience on drill ships and semi- submersibles with all types of offshore equipment ranging from AC drive drilling packages to manual brake draw works, to profibus/profinet based drilling, sub sea controls and IT networking systems, rig modifications, EAMS / CMMS and budget planning. I have had the unique opportunity to work in many roles in my career, including the latest Rig maintenance supervisor, ballast control officer, barge engineer, dynamic positioning officer, electrician, and electronics technician My employers have discovered that I am very good at trouble shooting and problem solving within the maintenance dept. I have taken 4 rigs from the shipyard through commissioning and sea trials, the Glomar Explorer the Ensco 7500 and the Ensco 8502 and the latest Rig 102 as RMS. Because of this I believe that I have a wealth of knowledge and information that could benefit the rig and company that utilizes that experience. I have been DP/BCO operator, and I have extensive knowledge (over + HRS console time) on how the dp and stability systems work and how to troubleshoot it’s problems also how to set up on location, WSOC compliance, beacon placement and radar operation. In my off time It is my pleasure to assist my talented wife in teaching anger management and life skills classes as a service for the local county law enforcement and various other Church and community related services.
