About Fran Alvarez

I have a graduate degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Seville and a Master Degree in Business Administration form University of Seville as well. Even starting to work anywhere I was a passionate of Open Source philosophy and Semantic technologies, and for every role I have occupied I've tried to be in contact with both concepts. I met ECM world in 2007 ago and it's something I started to love from its very first moment, reason why I included it in the list of things I always want to do. I've been working with Alfresco from 2007, first as simple curiosity and later in 2008 as a professional. Self driven but lover of working in teams, leveraging individual capabilities to build and mentor heterogeneous teams. Ambitious but not aggressive, working in happy environments is my first motivation. I have been working with very innovative environments, technology and concepts, designing scalable and iterative architectures mostly based on Java, mainly interested in backend developments, also very enthusiastic in applying design patterns and best practices with both designing and coding. My core technologies are Java EE based, specializing myself in ECM, SOA technologies, Information Retrieval and Semantic Technologies. Equally interested in human side of work, lover of working with people and technology altogether, a team player whose goal is improving myself by improving everyone and everything that surrounds me.
