About Fran Winney

An experienced and successful manager at national and local level across Health and Social Care Industry. It is my passion to make a difference, that has driven me to progress my career into strategic leadership roles, as an Operational Director, leading on a range of projects, championing forward continuous improvement, the management of complex services, transformation, turn around, and start up of new services. In all my roles both at a local and strategic level, I have been passionate about delivering services that are built on the foundations of what truly matters to people and immersed in the development of person centred services, I have led with great vision and passion to facilitate the transformations of services for people with learning disabilities ensuring that services are built on the foundation on what matters to people. Held Strategic Change and Transition Roles, moving people with learning disabilities from hospital to supported living and community based support, and National Roles as Head of Personalisation, and developed strategies and led projects, enabled organisational change and transformation, supported organisations to be at the forefront of their industry and business to progression. I have played a fundamental role in the review of Health and Care provision, developed training programmes to support culture change, worked in partnership with housing providers to develop housing and support solutions for people with complex needs, and guided colleagues on the transforming of teams through culture change. I am a highly focused and proactive leader, who works closely in hand with all stakeholders and colleagues to develop services that are; outcome driven, responsive, focused on driving quality improvement; improve financial sustainable and adapt to the changing needs of the people we support. This is fundamental in shaping the industry that we are a part of today. As an Accredited International Trainer in Person Centred Thinking and Practice I have provided expertise and coaching to a wide audience on both the theoretical and practical application of personalisation, and enhancing the quality governance and practices.
