About Frances Dodd

I have more than 19 years experience working in communications, and stakeholder and community engagement, working across the private and public sector in Brisbane. My most recent focus has been in the public transport and transport infrastructure sector, working on some of South East Queensland's most significant projects including the $9.5 billion Queensland Train Manufacturing Program, New Generation Rollingstock, Moreton Bay Rail Link and Gold Coast Light Rail. In the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP), as Strategy, Corporate Affairs and Governance Lead, I have worked at a strategic and leadership level, providing advice to government on best practice for engagement and communication. This includes leading a talented and multi-disciplinary team delivering media relations, strategic and digital communications, community and stakeholder engagement, and government relations. I specialise in community and stakeholder engagement, with my experiences working on the New Generation Rollingstock Accessibility Variation Project, and QTMP over the past six years igniting a passion for accessibility in public transport. I have also spent time working in resources and energy, property, professional services and tourism.
