About Frances Jackson

With over 13 years of work experience in the education sector, I am a passionate and skilled instruction/learning specialist at Kumon Canada, the world's largest after-school math and reading program for kids. I have a strong background in applied human sciences, psychology, public health, and social media and online marketing, which enables me to design, create, and deliver engaging and effective learning modules and trainings across Canada, US, and Mexico. I am motivated by the mission of Kumon Canada to help children achieve their full potential and develop lifelong learning habits. I also value diversity, collaboration, and innovation, and strive to bring these elements to my work and team. In my most recent role as an instructor at Kumon Math and Reading Centre of Canada, I supported the development and implementation of the curriculum, the assessment and feedback of the students, and the communication and relationship-building with the parents. I leveraged my skills in course design, workshop facilitation, and communication to ensure the quality and consistency of the instruction and learning outcomes. I also contributed to the marketing and promotion of the centre, using my social media and online marketing knowledge and skills. I am proud to have been part of a team that helped hundreds of students improve their math and reading skills and confidence.
