For over 25 years, Ms. Jeter has demonstrated leadership as a catalyst for strategic transformation. Her broad experience in strategy development, investor and financial communications, governance, issues and crisis management, sustainability and ESG, public policy and stakeholder relations are of significance in today’s ever-evolving corporate landscape. Ms. Jeter has been a Director of Allegiance Bancshares, Inc. since 2014. She was a member of the Board in 2016 at the time of public listing on the Nasdaq. She has assisted the Board in its transition from a founding board to a professional public company board as the bank continues to grow and adapt in a changing banking industry environment. She is Chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee and a member of the Chairman’s Strategy Development Committee. While at SVC, Ms. Jeter has advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, activist shareholder preparation and defense, take-private transactions, IPO’s, joint ventures, review of strategic alternatives, investor days, Chapter 11 financial restructurings, executive transitions, cyber matters, ESG and energy transition, reputation and crisis management, Issues management and public affairs, litigation support, and corporate positioning and profile-raising. Prior to joining SVC, Ms. Jeter was Group Vice President of Internal and External Affairs for Spectra Energy, a pipeline and midstream company, where she was responsible for investor and financial communications, sustainability and ESG, stakeholder relations related to infrastructure development, issues management and crisis communications, executive positioning and communications, media, brand and graphics and communications services. She co-chaired the company’s Safety and Operations Committee, was a member of the Risk Assessment Committee, Disclosure Committee and a mentor for the Leadership Development Network. She previously served as Vice President of Public Affairs for Duke Energy Gas Transmission, a predecessor company of Spectra Energy. She also was Chief Marketing Officer for Bracewell and held marketing positions at ExxonMobil, Westinghouse and the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County. She additionally served as Associate Director, Programs and Advancement, for the James A. Baker Institute of Public Policy at Rice University.
