As a passionate nutritionist, my education and career have been focused on understanding the powerful impact of diet and lifestyle on overall health. After completing my Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Otago, I pursued a Master of Applied Science in Advanced Nutrition Practice, which I completed with distinction. I am enthusiastic about helping individuals become the best versions of themselves by creating healthy, sustainable habits. My previous roles at Nourish app and Athos allowed me to engage in diverse activities such as content creation, educational seminars, brand relations, and strategic consulting. Working closely with athletes at Athos was incredibly rewarding, as I provided personalized nutrition guidance and conducted educational seminars tailored to their needs. These experiences honed my skills in adaptability, creativity, and continuous learning, which are crucial for thriving in a fast-paced and ever-evolving industry. My most recent role was the sole nutritionist at Vitaco, a company renowned for some of Australia and New Zealand’s most iconic food and supplement brands. In this role, I stayed informed of the latest scientific research and nutritional trends to ensure the products are at the forefront of innovation. I collaborated closely with regulatory and product development teams to refine formulations and substantiate health claims. Creating educational materials and nutrition communications was a key part of my job, particularly for the new women's brand, Athena, and for launching products on Amazon. Additionally, I acted as a key liaison between customers and brand or quality teams, addressing inquiries, complaints, and feedback to ensure customer satisfaction and product integrity. Representing Vitaco at expos and conferences, I educated attendees on the benefits of the products and built brand awareness. I also conducted product training sessions for the sales team to ensure they have a deep understanding of the offerings and can effectively communicate their benefits. My background in personal training gives me a strong understanding of the health and fitness environment, allowing me to seamlessly integrate fitness and nutrition. Additionally, I contributed to nutrition guidelines, market research for new opportunities, and compliance with nutritional standards and regulations. Driven by a passion for health and wellness, I continually seek to apply my expertise to make a positive impact in the industry.
