About Francesca Cantarini

I'm a qualified Architect with over 10 years professional experience in Barcelona. I’ve worked for TEC-CUATRO S.A, an engineering office specialized in infrastructure, industry and public spaces, holding positions of responsibility in project management and design. I’ve also worked on several smaller project and competitions (hotels, housing, public spaces, auditoriums) in collaboration with other architecture and landscape offices as a freelancer. I've developed technical skills in the design field specializing in the visual and graphic expression of the architectural project. I’m self-confident in using the most important design applications and programs, especially rendering and photo editing softwares (Autocad 3D, 3DStudioMax, SketchUp Photoshop, CorelDraw InDesign, Flash, Adobe). I graduated in Rome, at University of Architecture “La Sapienza”. I got a Master Degree in Theory and Practice of Architectural Design in Barcelona at “University of Barcelona” and a Postgraduate course in Experimenting the urban renovation in Piacenza Futura where I've learnt to deal with the research techniques for the theory and practice of design. Adding and sharing knowledge and experience in different fields is what I value in my career. I always look forward for new challenges with an insatiable need to complete each task at the highest degree competence. I have quick thinking and I particularly enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team to achieve the requirement of the clients and competitions. I insist on quality with the combination of performance and creative design processes.
