About Francesca Carrara

I am a positive person, curious and I am always ready to learn new skills. Since February 2023 I am part of the Marketing Office of the Italian Sailing Federation; in these eight months I have been able to develop new skills in the field of sports marketing and organization of national and international events. I am a dancesport athlete and my interest in the world of sport has led me to participate in a University advanced Course in Sport Culture Management, designed to provide historical, anthropological, legal, economic, administrative-managerial and communicative skills necessary for employment in sports at national and international level. My other interests are history, international relations and more specifically, American politics. I graduated with honors in International Sciences and Cooperation (courses taught in English) and given my passion for US history, culture and politics I chose to address in my dissertation in Law of International Organizations the role of the United States within international organizations. In September 2022 I had the honour of receiving at the Chamber of Deputies the America Youth Award for University Talent, awarded by Fondazione Italia USA to the most deserving graduates of Italy, that allowed me to take advantage of a full scholarship to follow the Master in "Leadership for International Relations and Made in Italy", operating within the United Nations academic program, UNAI - United Nations Academic Impact, concluded in August 2023. In my academic career, I have therefore acquired knowledge in the legal, political, economic and linguistic fields that I believe make me versatile and capable of dealing with work experiences in different sectors.
