About Francesca Cerami

Born on February 25, 1997. I am a management engineer of Politecnico di Milano. During my bachelor's degree I specialized in "Organization and Management of Industrial Production", then I attended the master's degree in "Digital Business and Market Innovation". At the turn of my master's thesis development, I started working at Taurus Asset Management as Asset Manager providing financial advice to individuals. I embarked on this path to broaden my knowledge and skills in the financial sector, which were not developed during my university years. This experience has allowed me to grow both professionally and personally by learning how financial markets work, how to build portfolios and how to efficiently and effectively interact with clients. At the end of 2022, I ended my previous career path to get involved in the field I am most passionate about and which I think could highlight my skills. I started as Manufacturing Scheduler Junior, at Hyster-Yale Group, dealing with the weekly/daily scheduling of the production departments, the feasibility checking of the production plans for each department, the monitoring of external processes and the reporting of manufacturing data. In September 2023, I had the opportunity to grow within Hyster-Yale Group becoming Production Area Coach I. I am responsible for all the value stream's processes of two assembly lines and the related scheduling, ensuring the achievement of company targets (efficiency, OTD, quality, safety) and cost reduction. My goal is to pursue "continuous improvement" through the correct use of DFT methodology. In April 2024 I was promoted as Production Area Coach II, keeping the previous tasks unchanged, increasing the focus on leadership and coaching activities. My organizational skills have always set me apart and are my greatest strength. I am motivated and diligent, with a great desire to learn. I try to improve my personal and professional skills by learning from the work environment and the people around me. I complete the assigned tasks within the set time frame and I set new goals for myself to be successfully achieved. Furthermore, I strongly believe in teamwork and I have a strong propensity for problem solving. I can work under stressful conditions and I am available to work overtime. In my free time, I do sport, I create multimedia contents, and I travel to know new cultures. Be a value added resource.
