About Francesca de Cata

I am Francesca De Cata and I was born in December 1994, in Lleida. I have the good fortune that my parents emigrated and decided to live in a bilingual province and as a result I speak three languages fluently: English, Spanish and Catalan. In addition, I am currently studying Italian, so I also have basic notions of this language. After attending compulsory education and high school in my hometown, I decided to enroll at the Universitat Jaume I (UJI) and so move to Castellón to study the Degree in Journalism. Throughout the four years of the degree, I acquired different skills and grew both personally and professionally. Thus, I am accustomed to speaking in front of large numbers, dealing with new people and working in both groups and independently. I have also learned to be proactive and to anticipate possible problems that may arise. I carried out the duties of my work placement in the communication department of the Castellón town hall, where I acquired practical skills. In addition, at the same time as studying at university I worked as a teacher in the English academy Up to English. I have completed a creative marketing course and also two others; the mid-level of Final Cut Pro X and the basic level of Photoshop, all through the UJI. On the other hand, I know how Wordpress and Wix work as I have used these platforms during my degree. I feel that I am a sociable, creative and energetic person. I’m also hardworking, I carry out all the tasks I am given with the utmost care and attention.
