About Francesca Dripps

Designing and planning events comes naturally to me. It is my passion and has been since childhood. It’s the reason why I was able to graduate magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Restaurant Administration, but with a twist. I tailored my degree to include a triple emphasis in Food and Beverage Management, Club Management, and General Operations. This suited me quite well given that I am most excited working in event and catering management. My work experience mirrors the diversity of my college degree. I have worked across several business sectors: tour operations, event centers, country clubs, and hotels. This has given me great exposure to different elements of community and private events, and has allowed me to understand the nature of the support functions by working directly in those capacities. Throughout my varied experiences one thing is constant. I listen and watch for what people want, then I find ways to deliver it, whether taking food and beverage orders, creating reunion packages for our veterans, or designing new marketing materials. I am naturally artistic and enjoy One Stroke painting techniques so much that I’ve run a small business on the side since middle school. This gives me a terrific creative outlet and is another way I’ve been able to connect with people. I like seeing how they respond to my unique and functional pieces. In many instances my clients commission custom artwork that I design with our collective imaginations. Beyond painting I enjoy kayaking and camping with my friends and spending time outside with my bulldogs. I’ve learned that most people are like me and seek some form of adventure though they may have different interests. Working in the hospitality industry, I enjoy helping others plan out their next adventures and create enduring memories. To that end, I’m looking forward to my next career adventure.
